Kat Godsey

Kat Godsey is a Cosplay veteran with many years of experience creating costumes, working booths, and organizing events. As Cosplay Coordinator for CYPHACON, her job is to ensure that the contest runs smoothly, the guests are taken care of, and everyone is enjoying themselves as they exhibit their hard work! Textile art is a passion of hers, as her work with AKA Cosplay and Art has taken her group across state lines to compete and win in multiple competitions.

After winning Best in Show at Beaumont Comic Con, and since the pandemic, Kat has taken a step back to focus on her career as a marketing professional and community organizer. You can find her at various events across SWLA as she plays her part to support the community that has done so much to support her.
