Parking this year at the Event Center, how much does it cost?
Parking is free in all locations in and around the Event Center.
Where can I purchase ticket for CYPHACON 2025
Tickets for the event can be purchased locally at Stellar Beans Coffee House, MacFarlane’s Celtic Pub, through Ticket Master on our website under buy tickets, or the Event Center Box Office leading up to the event.
I bought my tickets on Ticket Master where do I get my badge.
If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster online you will go to the Will Call window at the Lake Charles Event Center Box Office
Do Pre Sales get in early at CYPHACON?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any presale pass holder to get in early. We will begin lineups at 4 PM to alleviate some congestion at registration.
Can we expect long lines at CYPHACON?
There is always the possibility of lines getting into CYPHACON. We recommend getting to the event early so you can enjoy the convention.
- If you Pre Register at Stellar Beans or MacFarlanes’s you can skip the lines and head to the Pre-Registration Table and avoid the box office.
- If you Pre Register through Ticket Master you can skip to the WILL CALL line to secure your passes then head to the Badge Pickup Table.
When I meet the celebrities can I bring something with me for them to sign and do they charge?
Celebrities will sign most items you bring as long as they are not inappropriate. Our guests will also be selling 8×10 photos at their booths.
- Please note that each celebrity will charge for autographs and /or pictures and selfies at their tables.
- Celebrities will only accept cash for their autographs and photos. Also this year there will be no free autographs from our celebrity guests
- There will be no FREE signings as with past events. Unless otherwise noted under our autograph section updates closer to the event.
**CYPHACON does not have any control of the costs of autographs or photo ops. These are determined by the agents and celebrities prior to attending the event**
What happens if a guest/celebrity cancels prior to the event?
***PLEASE NOTE: IN SOME CASES GUESTS COULD CANCEL THEIR APPEARANCE AT OUR EVENT EITHER DUE TO WORK, HEALTH OR FAMILY EMERGENCIES. IF THIS OCCURS THIS IS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF CYPHACON. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO BOOK ANOTHER CELEBRITY TO REPLACE IF THIS OCCURS. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF A GUEST CANCELS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.***
When will the guests be available at CYPHACON?
Most guests will be available each day; however, some might only appear on Saturday and Sunday. Check our official CYPHACON APP for complete times for celebrity appearances.
Are you allowed to dress up at CYPHACON?
At CYPHACON we highly recommend anyone who wants to dress up to do so!
We accept everyone at our convention for a reason, show your geek pride and let it shine!
Will there be food and drinks sold at CYPHACON
Absolutely! For 2025 we are bringing back local food truck options for our attendees! We will also have a bar for those who would like to partake in libations during the event. PLEASE NOTE THE BAR WILL ALSO BE DEBIT OR CREDIT ONLY ALL WEEKEND.
Do you have an Anti-Harassment Policy at CYPHACON?
CYPHACON is dedicated to providing a harassment-free convention experience for everyone (regardless of gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion). We do not tolerate harassment of convention participants, staff members, or volunteers in any form. This also includes our online spaces run by CYPHACON on various social media platforms.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments [related to gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, CYPHACON may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the convention [with no refund]. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the CYPHACON staff immediately. (Convention staff can be identified by our uniforms)
