The CYPHACON Gaming arena is centrally located on the 1st floor of the Lake Charles Event Center. This arena features the very best in Tabletop and Video gaming experiences! This year we will be changing it up and making room for some amazing new additions to our already awesome lineup. Bringing Southwest Louisiana the largest Table Top/Board Gaming event of the year! CYPHACON has prided itself on listening to our fans and this year we are delivering. Our newly expanded CYPHACON Gaming Arena will allow us to give our tabletop community a new and expansive gaming area.
Lvl1 Gaming
LVL1 Gaming is a Lake Charles–based gaming store specializing in trading card games, including sealed products and singles, as well as board games, RPGs, Funko Pop! collectibles, model kits, anime merchandise, Gundam, sports cards, and more.
They host weekly tournaments at their Prien Lake Mall location, featuring Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, and many other popular titles.
LVL1 Gaming will be hosting a variety of exciting tournaments for all CYPHACON attendees. Special buy-in prize events will also be featured at their dedicated setup in the gaming arena.

Gulf Coast Gaming
Gulf Coast Gaming Events provides tabletop gaming content for conventions and local events. Their complete library currently has over 2,500 tabletop games that can be checked out and played for FREE while you are at the event. These games include board games, role playing games, miniature games, war games, card games, dice games, simple games, complex games, single player games, party games, children’s games, 18+ games, and much more!
Not familiar with many games? The Gulf Coast Gaming Events demo crew is made up of some of the nicest men and women in the region and range in age from teenagers to their sixties and everything in between. These passionate demo reps are skilled in the art of teaching players of all skill levels how to play all types of games. There are often representatives from different game companies, independent demo personnel, and small local game designers, all waiting to teach you how to play their games. Demo staff will vary based on the event and location.
Gulf Coast Gaming Events also coordinates and runs Play-to-Win sections at conventions. These Play-to-Win games are checked out and played during the event and on the last day, they are given away to electronically selected winners drawn from the people who actually played the game during the event. This year CYPHACON is now hosting new and exciting video gaming groups. Yes it will be much different this year and not as large as in the past. But will grow in the years to come!
TEKFGC
TEK FGC is a Lafayette-based gaming community dedicated to bringing local gamers and tech enthusiasts together through tournaments and special events. With monthly in-person competitions—including Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and a rotating community-voted game—TEK FGC offers a fun, welcoming environment for players to connect, compete, and build friendships both online and offline. The community’s active Discord server makes it easy to stay engaged and play together any time, not just during scheduled events.
Unlike most tournaments, all TEK FGC competitions are held on computers, with all necessary equipment provided and support for PlayStation, Xbox, and custom controllers. Special events, like the Smash Bros tournament at CyPhaCon, further expand the gaming lineup and continue the tradition of providing everything participants need—including adapters for GameCube controllers.

A short training session will get you ready for battle. Afterwards, you can talk smack while enjoying a mission review video of your battle and comparing your scoresheet to the other pilots in your mission.
