Currently there are no restrictions or mandates in the State of Louisiana regarding Covid-19.
We have added extra hand sanitizing stations and cleaning procedures to our daily routines thanks to the help of the Civic Center staff.
- CYPHACON 2022 Masking Policy: We will NOT be enforcing an active masking mandate at the event.
- Current CDC guidelines state indoor masking is no longer required unless in a high transmission parish or county. (Currently our area is listed as LOW transmission) However, some of our celebrity guests might request masking when interacting at their booths so we recommend bringing a spare mask to the event.
Any changes to COVID-19 rules will be posted here and on our social media platforms prior to the event.
Tickets for the event can be purchased locally at Paper Heroes, through Ticket Master, or the Civic Center Box Office leading up to the event.

Tickets will be onsale at the Lake Charles Civic Center box office all weekend during CYPHACON until late Sunday afternoon.

If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster online you will go to the Will Call window at the Lake Charles Civic Center Box Office.
If you purchased a ticket from Paper Heroes for our 2020 event, your pass is good for the CYPHACON 2022 Show in April 1-3. All you have to do is verify with Pre Registration to get your badge to enjoy the shows when the doors open!
**2020 passes are only good for the 2022 April show per our rollover agreement back in March of 2020. After this show any other events will need to be purchased as usual.**
Unfortunately, we do not allow any presale pass holder to get in early. You can, however, pick up your badges at the Pre Reg desk before the convention starts approximately 1 hour before the doors officially open.
There is always the possibility of lines getting into CYPHACON. We recommend getting to the event early so you can enjoy the convention.
- If you Pre Register at Paper Heroes you can skip the lines and head to the Pre-Registration Table and avoid the box office.
- If you Pre Register through Ticket Master you can skip to the WILL CALL line to secure your passes.
Celebrities will sign most items you bring as long as they are not inappropriate. Our guests will also be selling 8×10 photos at their booths.
- Please note that each celebrity will charge for autographs and /or pictures and selfies at their tables.
- Celebrities will only accept cash for their autographs and photos. Also this year there will be no free autographs from our celebrity guests
- There will be no FREE signings as with past events. Unless otherwise noted under our autograph section updates closer to the event.
**CYPHACON does not have any control of the costs of autographs or photo ops. These are determined by the agents and celebrities prior to attending the event**

WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO BOOK ANOTHER CELEBRITY TO REPLACE IF THIS OCCURS. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF A GUEST CANCELS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.***

Absolutely! For 2022 we are bringing in new local food truck options for our attendees!
CYPHACON is dedicated to providing a harassment-free convention experience for everyone (regardless of gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion). We do not tolerate harassment of convention participants, staff members, or volunteers in any form.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments [related to gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, CYPHACON may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the convention [with no refund]. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the CYPHACON staff immediately. (Convention staff can be identified by our uniforms)
