Final CYPHACON 10^th Anniversary Report!

First and foremost thank you to everyone that attended our 10^th anniversary event! We could not have done this without you!

To our amazing Celebrities, Musical Guests, Special Guests, Authors, Cosplay Guests, Performing Guests, Fan Groups, Vendors, Artists, Makers, Food Trucks and last but never least our amazing sponsors Lake Charles Toyota, CBS Lake Charles, MacFarlanes Celtic Pub, Digikast, Louisiana Radio Communication, Paper Heroes, Gatti’s Pizza, Panorama Music House, Rikenjaks, Pujo Street Cafe, Rob Cameron State Farm, Baggett McCall Lawfirm and Dudshot.

Without your unwavering support and attendance this year would not have been such a massive success. If you attended our show we had a lot of first this year, many of which we are excited to tackle next year that being the unexpected long lines that shocked our staff totaling 3,500 tickets sold at the door with an estimated 10k weekend attendees present for our biggest event to date.

So many things went right for us to have our event and host it as it was intended back in 2020 and now that it is behind us we want to thank you all for supporting us like you did.

Last but certainly not least, we must thank the amazing support of our volunteer staff this year at CYPHACON. They performed unbelievable feats to keep this event going and as smoothly as humanly possible. We know next year will be a bit easier and our core staff will be ever so excited to be working with some of these amazing individuals again for our 11th anniversary event in 2023!

With the massive success of CYPHACON 2022 we will be hosting our annual FREE – CYPHACON Halloween Pub Crawl October 22, 2022 in Downtown Lake Charles!

So the big question, what about having CYPHACON in October? The simple answer is our staff and our headline sponsor Lake Charles Toyota have decided to keep our focus on April for our singular large event. This way we can pack the house and give you the biggest entertainment options you have ever seen in Lake Charles and South Louisiana! In addition the weekend we wanted to host our October event would have directly impacted other amazing local events we completely and wholeheartedly support so we felt it was right to focus on April from here on out.

Your local and longest fan run convention CYPHACON will return March 31^st – April 2^nd 2023 to the Lake Charles Civic Center!

Signups for Artists, Vendors, and Fan Groups will begin Mid October 2022. Tickets will officially go on sale locally at first at Paper Heroes in Lake Charles, Lake Charles Civic Center Box office and Ticket Master on Black Friday November 25^th 2022.
